Notes inside the IBM Workplace Managed Client
If you use the IBM Workplace Managed Client, you can open and work with Notes databases, views, and documents without having to open the Notes client separately. To do so, your Workplace administrator must first set up the Workplace Managed Client so that you can access Notes applications.

To work with Notes applications while using the Workplace Managed Client, click Lotus Notes in the Switcher bar; this opens a Notes Application bookmark navigator and your current Notes home page. The bookmark navigator displays your current list of Notes bookmarks. The bookmarks list is synchronized between the Workplace Managed Client and Notes client so that changes you make to the list in the Notes client are reflected in the list in the Workplace Managed Client and vice versa.

You can open Notes items -- databases, views, and documents -- in the Workplace Managed Client as you normally open them in Notes. When you do so, most of the features available for the item in Notes are available in the Workplace Managed Client. In addition, a few new Notes features are available that aren't when you use Notes separately.

For information on a Notes feature, press F1 from an open Notes database, view, or document, or choose Help - Notes Help Topics from the Workplace Managed Client menu. For information on Workplace Managed Client features, choose Help - Help Contents from the Workplace Managed Client menu.
