Allow single log-in to Notes from IBM Workplace Managed Client
If you use IBM Lotus Notes 7 through the IBM Workplace Managed Client, you can avoid having to be repeatedly prompted for your Notes password each time you open a Notes application or database. Instead, you can have the Workplace Managed Client remember your Notes client password when accessing Notes applications.

Your administrator must first configure the ability for you to use your Workplace client password when accessing Notes applications. Then, the first time you attempt to access Notes, you must enable this feature in the Notes User Security dialog box.

To allow or disallow single log-in to Notes

1. Choose File - Security - User Security

2. Click Security Basics. If your administrator has enabled single log-in for Notes, you will see the option "To allow/disallow IBM Workplace to log me in to Notes" under "Your Login and Password Settings."

3. Click "Allow/Disallow." The Allow/Disallow dialog box appears.

4. If the feature has not already been enabled, the option "Allow IBM Workplace to log me in to Notes" will be available. Click this to have IBM Workplace remember your Notes password when you attempt to access Notes applications. Then type your Notes password in the space provided.

5. Click OK.
