What do you want to do? | Procedure |
Ask recipients to reply to a message by a specified date | Specify a date in the "Stamp message with a 'Please reply by' date" field. Notes adds a line to the message asking the recipients to reply by the date and adds the message to the recipient's To Do view. |
Add an expiration date to a message | Specify a date in the "Expiration date" field.
Notes applies the expiration date to any saved or sent copies of the message. If archiving is performed on the mail file and the archive criteria is based on expiration date, this is the date that will be used.
Note The sender or recipient can change the expiration date of the document in their mail file by using Tools - Mark/Unmark Document As Expired. |
Route replies to a message to others | Specify a name or names in the "Replies to this memo should be addressed to" box. To select a name from an address book, click the button to the right of the box. |
Specify a language character set for the message | Select a language character set from the "MIME Character Set" drop-down list. For example, if your recipient is using Notes in Hebrew, select one of the Hebrew options. |
Send this mail to other Notes users through the Internet and preserve delivery options. | Select the check box at the bottom of the tab. When your Location document specifies sending outgoing mail directly to the Internet, choosing this option lets you preserve delivery options that normally do not work with mail sent over the Internet.
For more information on the Location document, see To create or edit a Location document manually. |
