Administration policies for archiving mail
If you open the Archive Settings dialog box for your mail database, and some or all options are dim, your Domino administrator has set a policy determining how your mail is archived and whether you can create any private archive settings for your mail.

If the Archive Settings dialog box is not open, choose Actions - Archive - Settings.

The following table describes several ways archiving may be allowed in your organization.

Basics paneOptions are dimAn administration policy is specified for client-based archiving, and the policy allows you to control the schedule because the archiving will be performed on your computer.
