Keyboard shortcuts for dialog boxes and properties boxes (Macintosh)
Standard dialog boxes appear when you perform an action in Notes. For example, when you choose File - Database - Open, the "Open Database" dialog box appears.

Standard Dialog Box

You can learn about and change the characteristics of a document, object, or database by opening what's known as a properties box. For example, when you're editing a document, choose Text - Text Properties to open the "Text Properties" box.
