To bookmark a database before opening it

1. Choose File - Database - Open.

2. Select the name of the server the database is stored on or select Local in the Server field.

3. Select a database from the list of available databases on the server, and click Bookmark.

Tip Press SHIFT while selecting databases to select a continuous list of databases listed next to each other, or press CTRL while selecting databases to select databases that are located throughout the list, not listed next to each other.

To bookmark a database that is open

1. From an open database, choose Create - Bookmark.

2. Select the name of the Bookmark folder where you want to add the bookmark, or select Bookmark Bar to add the bookmark to the Bookmark bar along the left side of your screen, and then click OK.

Tip You can also right-click the open database's window tab, and choose Create Bookmark.

Notes

• You can change the name of the bookmark in the Name field in the Add Bookmark dialog box.
• To create a new folder for the bookmark, select the location for the new folder in the Add Bookmark dialog box, click "New Folder," and then enter a name for the folder in the Name field.
